It's no secret Alberta's whitetail deer are one
of the most sought after trophies in North America. Because
of genetics, unlimited quality feed and low hunting pressure,
Northern whitetails have become world famous. The vastness
of the country can be a bit intimidating at first. Large tracks
of bush & some huge farm country make for excellent whitetail
deer habitat.
November is traditionally the best
time to hunt these deer, but late August and early September
can be productive to the bow hunter in search of these whitetail
bucks. Stand hunting rattling, grunt calling, still hunting
and stalking are all methods a hunter can use depending on conditions.
Generally it takes a hunter to be patient and in good physical
condition to be successful in hunting these trophy whitetails.
When they say "They don't get big by being stupid" they must
be talking about Alberta Whitetails.

These are 10 day hunts with a
log cabin being the sleeping facility for the hunters. All
meals are enjoyed in our home with our family - except for
lunch which may be eaten in the filed. Hunting starts early
in the morning and goes on as long as there is daylight.
